Tasks

Customise and extend the Front Arena platform to enable new risk and valuation capabilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy robust functionalities across trading and back-office ecosystems
Ensure end-to-end ownership of critical services, maintaining high availability and minimal downtime
Lead integrations between Front Arena and upstream/downstream systems (e.g., pricing, market data, risk engines)
Analyse and resolve complex production incidents through root cause analysis
Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, security, and adherence to architectural standards
Identify and implement improvements for system performance, scalability, and resilience
Contribute to change and release management within an agile (SAFe) delivery framework
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold strong ethical and risk standards

Requirements

Completed degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of experience working with Front Arena in trading, mid-office, valuation, and risk environments
8+ years of hands-on development experience with AEL, ACM, and ADFL (all mandatory)
Strong knowledge of capital markets, particularly structured products and equity derivatives
Solid understanding of financial product lifecycles (cash flows, corporate actions, expiries)
Experience with Front Arena data models, workflows, and system components
Experience working in agile development environments using tools such as Git or Bitbucket
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure
Willingness to work on Swiss public holidays when required by market activity
Fluent English required; German is an advantage
