Tasks
  • Customise and extend the Front Arena platform to enable new risk and valuation capabilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy robust functionalities across trading and back-office ecosystems
  • Ensure end-to-end ownership of critical services, maintaining high availability and minimal downtime
  • Lead integrations between Front Arena and upstream/downstream systems (e.g., pricing, market data, risk engines)
  • Analyse and resolve complex production incidents through root cause analysis
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, security, and adherence to architectural standards
  • Identify and implement improvements for system performance, scalability, and resilience
  • Contribute to change and release management within an agile (SAFe) delivery framework
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold strong ethical and risk standards
Requirements
  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience working with Front Arena in trading, mid-office, valuation, and risk environments
  • 8+ years of hands-on development experience with AEL, ACM, and ADFL (all mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of capital markets, particularly structured products and equity derivatives
  • Solid understanding of financial product lifecycles (cash flows, corporate actions, expiries)
  • Experience with Front Arena data models, workflows, and system components
  • Experience working in agile development environments using tools such as Git or Bitbucket
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure
  • Willingness to work on Swiss public holidays when required by market activity
  • Fluent English required; German is an advantage
