Tasks

  • Act as the primary Business Analyst and bridge between Front Office trading desks (Fixed Income, Commodities, Currencies) and Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Middle Office
  • Capture, analyse, and document business requirements and translate them into effective, implementable solutions
  • Work cross?asset with proficiency in linear and nonlinear rates products such as IRS, XCCY swaps, swaptions, exotics, and hybrid instruments
  • Apply deep functional knowledge across government bonds (Govies), supranationals (SSA), corporate credits, and structured notes
  • Support traders with expertise in pricing mechanisms, yield curve construction, accrual logic, settlement cycles, and P&L components including carry, roll?down, and convexity
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to pricing discrepancies, trade lifecycle breaks, and market data inconsistencies
  • Translate trader feedback into structured functional requirements to influence product roadmaps and enhancements
  • Lead end?to?end front office transformation projects including scope definition, stakeholder coordination, risk assessment, and production rollout
  • Design and optimise solution delivery processes across Front Office and support functions
  • Serve as subject?matter expert across FICC products and the trade lifecycle to ensure consistent business and technical alignment
Requirements
  • Several years of experience as a Business Analyst in Fixed Income, Commodities, and/or Currencies
  • Strong cross?asset expertise across linear, nonlinear, exotic, and hybrid instruments
  • Deep understanding of pricing models, curve building, valuation logic, accruals, settlement processes, and P&L attribution
  • Proven ability to analyse and resolve complex pricing, lifecycle, and market data issues
  • Experience converting trader needs into clear functional specifications
  • Track record in leading front office or trading?related transformation initiative
  • Strong competence in solution design and delivery optimisation
  • MSC in Financial Engineering or Master in Finance
  • German business fluent or native (C1/C2)
  • English business fluent (C1/C2)
